The Main CrabitatThe 100 gallon TruVu acrylic aquarium was generously donated by a Friend of HCR, Joann in Los Angeles. Thank you! The crabitat is divided into three zones; left side with sand and low heat, in the center is EcoEarth and on the right side is sand, both with optimal heat. There are plenty of places to climb, hide, burrow down and explore. A one-gallon cylindrical vase holds a Betta fish, who entertains the crabs. A large, beautiful piece of driftwood leads to a retreat made of netting. On the left inside wall is netting for climbing and in the center, another driftwood structure covered with artificial plants creates an inviting place to hide away. Shells in a variety of sizes and weights can be found throughout the tank. Bowls of both dechlorinated fresh water and salt water are available as well as shell dishes of healthful crab-safe foods. The ambient temperature and humidity in the tank is maintained at 82º/80%. Left side and center of the crabitat
