We provide a full range of services for both routine tasks and special projects.
Remote Secretarial Assistance
- This covers: most daily business needs involving documents, spreadsheets and presentations. This category encompasses special projects, "cures, fixes and workarounds" and other odd requests. Also internet research, data consistency, file conversions, solutions consulting and quick answers requiring seasoned secretarial expertise.
- How it works: Send us the information as an electronic document, handwritten fax or in email. We will verify receipt of the project, contact you to discuss any special needs, requirements or deadlines, provide a quote and payment method, then queue the job for processing. We will contact you with any questions during the job, to make sure any ambiguities or missing information is clarified. Once finished, we will send the file electronically or arrange for you to download it from our website. Physical material such as labels or name badges will be delivered to your office.
Design and Graphic Services
- This covers: graphic design, flyers, brochures, stationery, posters, spec sheets, invitations, postcards, e-mail signatures, internet banner ads, websites, and other creative endeavors.
- How it works: e-mail, fax or call with your design ideas. Samples and mock-up drawings that help convey the idea will be helpful, but aren't always necessary. We will contact you to schedule time to discuss the design specifications and the goal of the finished piece, including target audience, "feel" of the piece and any needed graphic elements. We will quote an initial price based on initial specification. Changes may require additional fees. A deposit of 50% of the total will be necessary to begin work, with the balance due on delivery of the finished piece. Once completed, a sample in .pdf format will be supplied for approval. Once the version has been approved, it will be finished as specified and delivered to you.
Copywriting and Proofreading
- This covers: business letters, sales letters and other documents requiring copywriting assistance. Proofreading is recommended for any published or distributed document.
How copywriting works: After providing any materials necessary to create the written piece, we will review it and contact you to go over specifics of the project. Because there may be several versions of the document created before the finished piece is approved, our rates for this service are by the hour, with a deposit of 50% of the anticipated time due at signing of the work order. We will be in contact with you throughout the writing process and welcome your comments and ideas. Once the approved version of the document is finished, the balance will be due and the file then transmitted to you.
- How proofreading works: Submit the material to be proofread. We will give a project price for the proofreading once the level of proofreading required is determined. Levels include basic proofreading for simple documents, proofreading and editing for detailed projects, and detailed proofreading with fact checking for critical documents. A 50% deposit will be required before the work is begun, with the balance due upon submission of the revised version. Proofreading can be done as written marks on a printed copy or electronically as a document with "show changes" displayed. If you are providing printed copy, please format with double spacing and numbered pages.
